Illustrations realized on a beautiful action by Los Jornaleros del Norte. The band was created after an ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raid that took place in a city of Industry, while a mobile health clinic of Los Angeles Health Department was providing medical testing. Their cumbias and nortenas have become a soundtrack for the labor and immigration movement. “A serenade for the undocumented” is an actual serenade they sang outside of LA detention center, to soothe minds and hearts of the separated families.
