I had the honor to draw the poster illustration for this edition of the LiberAzioni Festival, a film festival held both inside and outside prison. The image was inspired by my encounter with inmates in the women's wing of Vallette prison, where I held a short illustration course. By bringing in a drawing workshop, I sought to create a space-time of relief, free from judgement, where I could introduce my imaginative method and help the participants gain confidence in a new expressive language. I am very grateful to Francesca Tonelli for her support in training me to use relational tools that made this concrete and possible.
